BIRTHDAY GUIDELINES FOR THE 2025/2026 SCHOOL YEAR:
TK: Students with birthdays between September 2nd, 2020 and September 1st, 2021 are eligible for TK.
Kindergarten: Students with birthdays between September 2nd, 2019 and September 1st, 2020 are eligible for kindergarten
ENROLLMENT PROCESS FOR TWBI TK AND KINDERGARTEN CLASSES:
1) Complete a commitment form and turn it in to the Bijou Community School Office by February 14th, 2025 at 3pm.
2) Attend the information night on February 25th at 5:30pm (Kinder families)
or
Attend the information night on February 26th at 5:30pm (TK families)
3) Admittance into Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten is based on a lottery. You will be notified of your lottery results on February 26th by 9am.
ENROLLMENT PROCESS FOR STUDENTS AFTER THE START OF FIRST GRADE:
1) Students entering our program after the first half of first grade will be assessed on their reading, writing, listening and speaking skills in Spanish.
2) Students will be admitted upon space availability and requires prior formal academic instruction in Spanish reading and writing.
