Located on the shores of beautiful Lake Tahoe, Bijou Community School hosts approximately 430 Transitional kindergarten through fifth grade students. Bijou Community School is a full Two Way Bilingual Immersion school. The goals of our program are bilingualism, biliteracy and sociocultural competence. Bijou is a multicultural school; a school that stresses the importance of building community and appreciating differences in culture.
